The Contract Management System (CMS) is a web-based, .NET application designed to allow OCFS contractors to develop their contracts on-line; including an electronic signature feature, submit financial claim information electronically, develop budget modifications as necessary and obtain information on payment status. The core components of the system were initially implemented in December 2004, and additional enhancements have continued to be deployed in accordance with the project schedule. Beginning January 2007 the project will focus on rebuilding the Online Bidder's List and initiate development of an automated procurement process.
